About DUST2

The following is the purpose for which this organization has been organized: Dust2 works to 1) encourage bicycling as an active, lifelong sport, 2) develop a sense of community within individuals, groups, and other organizations, 3) provide stewardship to create and maintain bicycle riding opportunities, 4) oversee the operations of a youth mountain bike team.

The name DUST2 initially came about as the need was
identified for a non-profit that could raise funds for trail building efforts in the urban area of downtown Pagosa Springs. Hence
DUST2: Developing Urban Single Track, was born. The "2" came with the Teams integration. Over time DUST2 has expanded work out of the urban area and into the rural surrounding forested areas. Perhaps now it is "Developing Ultimate Single Track and Teams" ?
